BackingMinds-backed real estate platform Combify acquired by Norway's Placepoint

Combify becomes part of the Nordic decision-making platform for real estate, with Placepoint as its new owner, continuing to build from Stockholm.

Combify, the Stockholm-based company delivering land and zoning data from all 290 of Sweden's municipalities, is joining Placepoint, the Nordic decision-making platform for real estate. Placepoint becomes the new owner, and Combify's data and technology will be integrated into a platform spanning both Norway and Sweden.

Founded in 2020, Combify launched its platform in 2022 and has turned fragmented Swedish real estate data into a single, usable source, growing to over 100 paying customers and winning "Årets Nybyggare" (Sweden's "Newcomer of the Year" award) that same year. Machine learning has been core to the company from day one, and with the recently launched Combify AI Agent, it's now at the forefront of AI for real estate professionals. That leading position in Swedish real estate data, backed by a unique technical infrastructure, is what made Combify an attractive target.

As part of Placepoint, Combify gains significantly more firepower behind its product. The Swedish team stays on, data and technology are being integrated into a Nordic platform, and the full suite of Placepoint services will roll out in the Swedish market this fall. For Combify's customers, it's the same Combify just with more resources, greater reach, and a powerful roadmap ahead.
