BackingMinds portfolio company Bricknode has been acquired by Huddlestock Fintech, a Norwegian company listed on Euronext Growth Oslo. Bricknode was founded in 2010 and is based in Skövde. It built a cloud-based platform that helps banks, asset managers and fintechs digitise investment and lending operations.

Huddlestock paid in its own shares, worth about SEK 107 million at the time of the announcement in March 2023. The companies complement each other: Huddlestock contributes trading technology and an investment banking licence, and Bricknode contributes back-office software and services. The combined group had annual revenue of more than SEK 80 million on a pro forma basis. The deal closed in April 2023.
