Hybird raises €2.4M to transform how buildings use energy

Hybird, the AI-driven energy cloud founded by Thomas Skovby, Søren Berg, and Zendesk co-founder Morten Primdahl, has just raised €2.4 million to reinvent energy infrastructure- from the electrical panel up.

BackingMinds is proud to co-lead this round alongside Transition (UK), with support from 2degrees, EIKON Capital, Notion Capital’s Pioneer Fund, and several strategic angel investors.

Hybird replaces outdated building tech with a smart panel and AI-powered platform that gives real-time visibility and control down to the circuit level. The result? Energy savings of up to 30%, reduced emissions, and a step toward a more resilient grid.

With this funding, Hybird will expand across Europe, extend its tech beyond electricity to include heating and water systems, and continue developing its automation layer to drive real impact in energy-heavy sectors.
