NitroVolt raises €3.5M to help farmers make their own fertilizer with clean power

NitroVolt has raised €3.5M to scale its on-site, fossil-free fertilizer technology. The funding round is co-led by BackingMinds and EIFO, with participation from Breakthrough Energy, EQT Foundation, Satgana, and Division Q. Their “Nitrolyzer” unit allows farmers to produce nitrate fertilizer directly on the farm using only air, water, and renewable electricity - cutting emissions and increasing food system resilience.
